Philosophy
At Tapped In Psychotherapy, we believe that every individual (and couple) has the capacity for growth and change. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their inner selves and overcome personal challenges.
Meet Brooke
Brooke is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Certified Trauma Integration Clinician. She is also a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She is fully certified in the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model, trained in EFT and Gottman informed.
Brooke specializes in Trauma, Infertility & Pregnancy Loss and Perinatal Mental health. She deeply understands how complex and tender these experiences can be. Her work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience, which gives her a unique, heartfelt understanding of what it means to navigate uncertainty, grief, identity shifts, and the longing for something more.
When not in session, Brooke enjoys anything that involves being outside, particularly in the summer!
Approach
Our approach is holistic and collaborative. We work with clients to identify their goals and develop a personalized treatment plan that incorporates a variety of evidence based modalities, including mindfulness, somatic therapy, person centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy, and for trauma, the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM). For couples, we also include Gottman, Relational and EFT techniques.
